Rhoyal Bistro Live is Hiring a Bartender Near Lansing, IL

Are you looking for an awesome career opportunity as a Bartender?

Look no further! We have immediate openings for experienced Bartenders for the upcoming opening of our Fine Dining restaurant located in Lansing, IL (South Suburban location.)

Ideal candidates will have 1 to 2 years of bartending experience and possess the high level of skill needed to create classic and innovative drinks that delight our customers and exceed their expectations. Compensation includes salary and tips.

Position Summary:

The Bartender is responsible for providing an excellent drinking experience for guests and ensuring that guests receive exceptional service in the bar area.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrate genuine hospitality and deliver exceptional guest service in the bar area
  • Mix, garnish and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks according to company specifications for guests at the bar and in the Dining Room
  • Keep the bar stocked and clean while always providing friendly and attentive service
  • Interact with guests, take orders and serve drinks and food items
  • Assess guests’ needs and preferences and make drink recommendations
  • Enforce company policies regarding the consumption of alcohol
  • Stay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience
  • Comply with all food and beverage regulations
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 3 years of professional bartending experience required
  • Understanding of unique and complimentary flavor pairings required
  • Excellent knowledge of mixology for traditional and creative cocktails
  • Positive attitude and excellent communication skills
  • POS/computer literacy desired
  • Relevant certification (BASSETT)
  • Proof of eligibility to work in the United States required

Skills & Abilities:

  • Ability to keep the bar organized, stocked and clean
  • Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time
  • Move and lift up to 15 pounds
